October
14th and 15th: Alberto Parada Trunk Show

A self-taught designer, Alberto Parada draws inspiration from the simplistic natural beauty and bounty of his native South America. His work speaks of a quiet boldness in the delicate composition of architectural form, space and color. These elements successfully combine to create a tatement piece that can be as bold or as subtle as the owner's own style reveals.
Born in New York City, award winning designer Alberto Parada is equally at home in the United States as in his parent's native South America, where he spent much of his youth. Today he lives in Washington, D.C. but travels frequently to Paraguay and Uruguay. His unique cultural background radiates through his bold colors and sculptural design, influenced by tradition yet new and refreshingly distinct.
Alberto Parada has been a leader in the sustainable fine jewelry movement. Alberto's designs blend diamonds and brilliant South American colored fair-trade gems with various tones of 18k reclaimed gold. The allure of his design is in the synthesis of simplistic form and space that is both calm and captivating.
Alberto's responsible approach to design makes his story so relevant to today's most discerning buyers. Alberto uses only conflict-free diamonds, fair-trade gems, and reclaimed gold in his jewelry, which is manufactured in the United States. He is a member of the 'No Dirty Gold' campaign. Alberto launched his line at the first Seattle Green Fashion week in 2007 and since has participated in several sustainable-fashion and eco-luxury events.
In 2009 Alberto won the JCK Jewelers Choice Award for 'Best Necklace Design'. He was a finalist for the 2010 NICHE design award, and nominated by the Fashion Group International of Greater Washington, D.C. as a 2010 Eco-Chic Rising Star.

11th-13th: Alexis Bittar Trunk Show

New Yorker Alexis Bittar is renowned for his modernist Lucite jewelry. After selling vintage clothes and accessories in the East Village, he launched his own collection in 1988 and his 1930s Bakerlite-inspired creations soon garnered a loyal fan base. Bittar has since gone on to collaborate with Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field and design Burberry's first ever couture jewelry collection.
18th-20th: Monica Rich Kosann Trunk Show

As a fine-art portrait photographer and jewelry and home accessory designer, Monica Rich Kosann has worked for many years with people to integrate their memories and most cherished possessions into their daily lives.
Kosann works with photography clients to integrate her candid images of children and family into the decor of their homes. She encourages clients to frame her photographs as they would any other piece of art, creating what she calls “the fine art of family for the home.”
Monica got her first Rollei camera when she was sixteen and started taking art-quality photographs of children when she was seventeen. She studied at the International Center of Photography, Rhode Island School of Design, the Sorbonne in Paris, and the International Academy of Art in Austria.
A number of years ago, Monica and her husband began scouring antique shows and flea markets for vintage lockets, cigarette cases, and powder compacts that could be adapted to hold family photographs. As demand increased, she developed her own unique collection of jewelry and home accessories. Today, Monica’s brand-name jewelry, image cases and frames are sold in more than seventy select stores across the country, including Bergdorf Goodman, Barney’s, and Neiman Marcus. In 2008, Monica opened her own in-store boutique at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City. Her collections are sold internationally at Lane Crawford in Hong Kong, Isetan in Japan and Tsum in Moscow.
